So some of you remember this little magical tool from my last trip to India. Lol. I bought this fan at WalMart for a dollar and I swear it was the best dollar I’ve ever spent. On this trip alone it’s been useful for: me on several occasions – trying to get any type of relief in Delhi, Sarah was feeling queasy (heat sick) on our plane ride to Dharamsala so I grabbed it out of my purse and gave it to her, it’s gotten several of the kids to stop crying at the day care because they are so mystified by it, 
and the teacher was even intrigued by it, 
she took it to fan off this little boy’s burnt/scabbed up open wounded foot…. See below... :( (I'm not sure you can tell so much in the picture, but trust me. It is really gross and sad.)

OMG! I wonder what happened to him to get a burn that severe! I love the bright orange-colored clothes! Too bad you couldn't have taken along enough fans for each child to get one. Oh well! It looks like they are having a ball with the things you did take. Love, Mom
