It’s hot in this airport. People are annoying. And it smells like a toilet in here.
Also, I just paid “5.80” for a coffee and a water. I have no fricking clue how much “5.80” is. It should be less than 5 dollars and 80 cents though, right? Druschker, I know you can answer that, right? Damn I wish my phone was working, I’d call you. (Yes, I totally tried it. I couldn’t resist. But it didn’t work. Stupid Altel.)
And the plane ride here… not terrible. I sat next to a sweet girl named Chelsea from Scotland. She told me a few interesting things I’ll share. She said she “left” school last year at 16. I’m like “What?” She then tells me that in Scotland you can choose to leave or stay in school once you turn 16. I’m like “Omg!?!” I asked her what the weather’s like there she replied, “Rubbish”. Which I thought was hilarious! And this plane ride started off by some idiot dropping a big metal sign onto some girl right behind us, who started crying and was whisked away to first class with an ice pack on her head. Anyway, Chelsea and I were discussing this incident and she replied that she didn’t want to get “cocked” in the head with any sign. Which I also thought was hilarious!
Uh…. Well my timing’s all messed up. I have no idea what time it really is, but I have about an hour to get to my gate. So I hope all is well with everyone. Will write from Delhi, after hopefully a nice sleep and shower. And I am staying at a pimp resort there, so I'll def have pics!
Ta ta from the future!
Love,
Janelle

The lady from Scotland sounds like a hoot! It's always fun to have someone to learn from on a plane. Take it as a good omen that you were not the one getting bonked on the beak by the sign. Poor thing! Take care! Love, Mom
ReplyDeleteSorry for the late post. You spent about US$8.
ReplyDeleteAnother note, Amsterdam's airport was just rated 8th best in the world.
